Anousheh is an Iranian-American engineer and the first Iranian in space.
In 1993 she co-founded Telecom Technologies, acquired by Sonus Networks in 2001, and in 2006 she co-founded Prodea Systems, a technology and services management company.
Anousheh has been distinguished with awards from George Mason University, the George Washington University, and Ernst & Young. The Ansari family is the title sponsor of the Ansari X Prize for space technology innovation.
